Fingers Everywhere

A different format of poetry here, still a writing201 activity. Prompt is Fingers, Form is Prose Poetry and Device is Assonance. Basically, my focus is on the many creative products of the fingers. The device, not so much going on there.

In groups of five or ten, they move and work and rest. On a blank canvas they played with a brush, and the Mona Lisa appeared. Pencil scratches on a jotter page give Versace and Armani a face. Risking their tiny forms to sharp and heavy tools, and home interiors a delight to see. The Masterchef Kitchen boast of their ¬†participation and the judges testify of their creativity. Even the gardens, plants and trees cannot escape their ever meddling activities. Then little Andi and Mofe learning to walk, stamp their dirty little fingers on the wall. And I count five…. ten….. fifteen………. twenty little fingers. Everything I see have fingerprints on them. I see fingers everywhere.
